Going to work its KNSS, during the day if I am out and about it’s on NPR but going home its usually playing my Spotify music.

What piece of advice would you give someone starting out in Human Resources?
Network like crazy. Get to know others in the profession and help one another. We can’t get through this maze alone.
What do you do in your free time?
I coach baseball and have for 13 years.
I travel with my family, when we can all get together.
I teach at Friends University in the MBA program.
Why did you join SHRM?
I saw the value of not only the national membership but the local as well. It brings professionals in the HR field together to learn, grow and develop for a discipline that you have to be passionate about. There is a lot of information and resources available to members that far outweigh the cost of the membership.
