Rarely does the success of an organization result from their strategy, it is almost always a result of how change is managed.

Joe has spent the last 15 years in leadership roles in large private companies (GE/UTC - GM and President) and the last 5 years, as CEO of QSI Facilities, a Gridiron Capital (Mid-Market Private Equity) owned company. While at GE Joe was trained as a black-belt in six sigma and learned more deeply about the importance of "Change Management".  While at QSI, Joe has driven considerable change, change necessary to grow the company from 115 employees to close to 300, and from $90 million in sales to well over $225 million. Leadership change, compensation plan change, organization and service delivery model change and most recently, significant growth through acquisition, are all examples of the stress and change we have brought upon QSI. How we have dealt with those changes, both successfully and unsuccessfully, has shaped the organization. Looking back on this evolution and learning from the past while managing future change with a pre-determined process is the topic.

Learning Objectives:

1. Identify the meaning of "Change Management"

2. Site specific examples of how change was managed both positively and negatively.

3. Walk away with the core principles behind successful Change Management and apply them to your organization.
