Practicing Diversity and Inclusion is important to business operations, growth and overall success of a business environment. It drives innovation, and new ideas. However, having a diverse and inclusive environment is not just for the workforce it should be part of our communities, allowing everyone to contribute the best of themselves through the community.

The Summit will help to create an atmosphere of collaboration, harmony, and high performance in the business arena. And, we hope to promote community awareness and personal growth in the understanding of Diversity and Inclusion.

The Urban League of Kansas in partnership with the business sector representing Wichita and Sedgwick County will present the first Diversity and Inclusion Summit that helps businesses, communities and Individuals understand what a diverse and inclusive environment looks like by discussing best practices and sharing ideas. This summit will offer three concurrent tracks base on topics focused on Workforce, Community, and Education.
