This training will focus on the importance of organizational development and employee engagement and how both have a direct impact in achieving the overall goals of your agency. The foundation for organizations to ‘grow their own’ incorporates many functions of Human Resources, specifically the human capital of the organization. This presentation will explore best practices and how Sedgwick County currently focuses their efforts on aligning organizational development activities directly to meeting mission, vision, and values of the organization through the following components: Mentoring, Management Decision Making, Change Management, Project Management, Diversity, Customer Service, Succession Planning, Organizational Development and Communication.
