Why all the fuss over diversity?
Will discussing diversity help or hinder our organization?
Diversity training engages participants in vital discussions about how our cultures and backgrounds influence our experiences in the workplace, how achieving and sustaining a diverse workforce can contribute to an organization’s health and success, and what role we can each play to enhance — or hinder — an inclusive workplace. Our myriad differences and commonalities impact every aspect of who we are in both our personal lives and our professional lives.
Questions for Discussion:
- What are the dimensions of diversity?
- What do we do when people are resistant to attending a workshop?
- Should training be mandatory?
