Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
Five years Human Resource generalist experience. This position requires the ability to interact with others inside and outside at all levels of the organization on a daily basis. Obtaining information from others on a daily basis is necessary to complete job tasks. Additionally, negotiation, persuasion, and diplomacy skills are required daily in addressing the concerns and questions of management and employees.
This is a full time exempt position reporting to the President of the company.

Recruiting and hiring which includes: developing job descriptions, creating advertisements for open positions, tracking and screening applicants, conducting interviews, reference and background checks, coordinating with hiring managers and making job offers.
Administrating employee benefits programs which includes: providing accurate paperwork to employees, educating employees on benefit options, completing paperwork to make changes to employee elections, coordinating employee enrollment, maintaining paperwork, responding to employee questions, maintaining a positive relationship with benefits vendors, and facilitating the process of identifying appropriate cost effective benefits.
Facilitates communication throughout the company includes: developing company policies, implementing policies, modeling and sharing company philosophy, provide feedback to management, encourage open communication, assure confidentiality of employee information, assist in conflict management, and design and implement creative communication programs.
Performs tracking and compliance activities to include: coordinating with safety representatives, tracking Worker's Compensation claims, completing, posting and submitting OSHA paperwork, updating employment posters, setting up and maintaining employee files, track training activities, track performance reviews, track hire and termination information, track disciplinary actions, coordinate with Union representatives, maintain Affirmative Action compliance.
Assist with payroll to include: tracking garnishments, completing garnishment paperwork, respond to unemployment claims, assist with time card and tracking of time off documentation, track FMLA, and advise payroll staff on employment regulations relating to payroll.
Provide assistance to management in employee issues include: conducting investigations into complaints, make recommendations, conduct meetings, provide coaching to managers, and conduct formal training.
