| Job Description |
Sedgwick County, KS (approx. 500,000 pop.) is a community that combines Midwestern warmth, cosmopolitan flair, and old west charm. Sedgwick County government (3,000+ employees) is seeking a seasoned HR professional to lead its “HR Agency of Excellence.” The HR Director is a key member of the Sr. Management Team and advisor to the County Manager. The ideal candidate will be a “hands-on” leader with comprehensive knowledge of human resources to include experience in organizational and employee development, employee relations, recruitment and selection, employee benefits, innovative compensation strategies, and change leadership.
