| Required Skills |
Bachelor’s degree in related field required. CDH Certification preferred. Candidate musthave 3-5 years of experience in a Consumer Directed Health plan organization with subject matter expertise in Health Savings Accounts (HSA), Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRA), Healthcare Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), and a variety of decision support tools. Management experience required. Excellent analytical and organizational skills as well as strong interpersonal communication (verbal and written) and consultative skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks. High customer service focus and a strong sense of responsibility. Familiarity with LightHouse1 administration software a plus. |

| Job Description |
- Acts as the Consumer Directed Health plan (CDH) product specialist conferring with Customer Service and Claims Processing departments in regard to administrative policies and procedures, claims adjudication regulations, issue resolution, priorities, and methods. Ensures adequate service levels are maintained by providing cross-training and/or formal training as necessary. Participates in employee training activities as subject matter expert (SME).
- Provides subject matter expertise with regards to claims administration; specifically Section 125, Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRAs). Analyzes and evaluates current processes/systems and makes recommendations on enhancing those processes to improve customer service and cycle time, and to reduce labor content. Maintains a solid understanding of CDH system functionalities.
- Stays current with regulatory changes that may affect the administration of claims and adheres to regulations/compliance in all areas of claims administration model. Assures compliance with the provisions of ERISA, COBRA, and HIPAA as well as all state and federal agencies including the Internal Revenue Service and Department of Labor.
- Coordinates plan design review for the Sales and Marketing department. Assists in coordinating responses to potential client proposals and requests for proposals (RFPs), and development and completion of SAS 70 audit requirements. Coordinates plan design provisions with counsel as required.
